Principal Eddwina Flowers

Eddwina Flowers is the Founding Principal of Manor Rise Academy. Principal Flowers joined Manor Independent School District  in 2014 as an assistant principal. In 2018, she began her first principalship at Pioneer Crossing Elementary, where she took pride in scholars reaching high levels of achievement, empowering teachers, and engaging parents. Before joining MISD, Principal Flowers taught grades 5th-8th in Lancaster, Dallas, and Austin ISD, as well as served as Campus Testing Coordinator at Del Valle Middle School. 

 Principal Flowers grew up in Dallas and attended school in the Dallas Independent School District, graduating from Skyline High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Southern University in Broadcast Journalism. She earned her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University.

 Principal Flowers influences each scholar, teacher, and staff member to change their mindset and thinking. She believes in learning for all teachers and scholars. Focusing on teaching and learning, high quality instruction will be provided to each scholar. She believes in partnering with parents and community partners to enrich the experience at Manor Rise Academy.

 During her free time, Principal Flowers enjoys reading, talking with friends, and spending time with her husband, and two teenagers.

Assistant Principal Callie Janosky

Ms. Janosky is proud to join the administration team at MRA this year, bringing 13 years of dedicated service to education. Ms. Janosky earned a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University in 2011, her master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction in Literacy from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018, and her principal certification from Lamar University in 2024.

Prior to this role, Ms. Janosky spent five years teaching at Pioneer Crossing Elementary and seven years as an instructional coach at Bluebonnet Trail Elementary. These experiences have shaped a passion for fostering academic excellence and supporting teachers and students alike. Ms. Janosky is excited to work alongside the incredible MRA community and is committed to creating a positive, engaging environment where all students thrive.
